FIFA is one of the top games in the world. Just like most other sport games, every year FIFA comes out with a new game. I mean, they have to though. You’re talking sports, so you’re talking trades and team adjustments. Sure, you can do updates, but you wouldn’t be able to update graphics, and new features. With this being said, FIFA 12 had a lot of noticeable changes from its predecessor FIFA 11. Some new features include better ball control, new tricks, better graphics, new commentators (since Andy Gray got fired), and a new defense system, just to mention a few. I must say, I am very pleased with all of these new features and updates. Except the new defense system. In the previous FIFA games, you were able to hold down A (360) or X (PS3), but now you must literally defend without much of the computer’s help, if any. Don’t get me wrong though, this is a good idea, considering the game is more challenging and I am sure you will get used to it. It’s just that I was pretty reliable on holding down A and having my defender run to the attacker automatically. Besides the new defense system, there is really nothing else I disliked about FIFA 12. I wish they had more language options instead of just Spanish, English and French. Maybe they can throw in Italian, like they did in 09 and 10. I can’t remember if they did in 11 though. Anyway, if you like FIFA or futbol (soccer) in general, definitely buy this game. You will enjoy it for sure, and it will just take some time to get used to the new features, the defense system being top on that list.
